Washington Center for Dentistry has been my dental home since 1988, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. For decades, Dr. Daniel Deutsch was my dentist, and his combination of skill, warmth, and artistry in dentistry set an incredibly high bar and left very big shoes to fill. I’m now a patient of Dr. Toshar Taneja, and the transition has been wonderful. I really appreciate his calm demeanor, gentle humor, and clear explanations, which immediately put me at ease in the chair. His meticulous, modern approach and obvious expertise give me complete confidence that my dental care is in excellent hands. I also have to highlight my dental hygienist, Alyssa, who is truly the best. She is thorough yet gentle, always attentive to my comfort, and consistently leaves my teeth feeling incredibly clean. After nearly four decades as a patient, I can say that Washington Center for Dentistry continues to provide outstanding, state‑of‑the‑art care with a personal touch.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Elana Shlansky at the Washington Center for Dentistry for many years, and I wouldn’t trust my dental care to anyone else. Dr. Shlansky is simply outstanding — she combines warmth and a personable manner with the highest level of professional competence. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, and I always feel confident that I’m getting the best possible care. I also want to give a special acknowledgement to Annie Buzzard, whose work as a hygienist is top-notch. She’s thorough, gentle, and makes every cleaning a comfortable experience. Every visit, I walk out feeling genuinely well taken care of.

Little to no waiting. Friendly and helpful receptionists. Thoughtful dentists. Lovely hygienists. I have had a LOT of dental work. This practice is the definition of “you get what you pay for.” Not the cheapest around, but the quality is excellent. I’ve had different dental insurance over the last 8 years and not one claim has been accepted. But, I keep going back nonetheless because I trust that the decisions made will save me hassle in the long run.

I absolutely love going to visit Dr. Fordjour and his team at the Washington Center For Dentistry! His attention to detail, the manner in which he explains what he needs to do along with is very gentle touch make visiting the dentist a pleasant experience. My oral health has been of high importance throughout my life and I am always impressed with the modern techniques and cutting edge technology that are available here. This practice is staffed with highly trained and very warm and friendly professionals. Rachel, my hygienist. Is hands-down the best that I have encountered in my 60 years of life. Her thoroughness and attention to detail. “No one really wants to need gum grafts, but if you do need them, you want an excellent doctor to conduct the surgery. Dr. Matin is wonderful, warm, and top notch. He has done two grafts on me (five years ago; they’ve healed beautifully), and I’m scheduled for a third. Additionally, everyone in his office is so incredibly nice and helpful!”
